1. Who we are

GrantMatcher (grantmatcher.eu) is operated by NodeLedger. Company details are available at nodeledger.io. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean NodeLedger, and "you" means the person or organisation using GrantMatcher.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use GrantMatcher on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

GrantMatcher helps organisations find EU funding opportunities. It lets you:

  • search open and forthcoming EU funding calls;
  • upload a business plan or project description and receive ranked matches;
  • view statistical estimates of success based on published award data;
  • explore previously funded projects and potential consortium partners.

GrantMatcher is an information tool. We do not submit applications, act as your grant consultant, or take part in any funding decision.

3. Accounts and access

  • Access is granted on request. We may approve or decline requests at our discretion.
  • You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at info@grantmatcher.eu if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
  • GrantMatcher is intended for business, research and public-sector use.

4. Plans and payment

  • Explore is free and includes up to 5 searches per month. Unused searches do not carry over.
  • Match and Advisor are paid subscriptions, billed monthly in advance, or annually where offered. The current prices and features are shown on the pricing page.
  • Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable.
  • You can cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from your next billing period after the notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract data from the service;
  • resell, sublicense or share access to the service outside your plan's limits;
  • upload content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful or malicious;
  • try to probe, disrupt or bypass the security or usage limits of the service;
  • present GrantMatcher's output as an official statement of the European Commission or any EU body.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the business plans, documents and information you upload ("your content"). You give us a limited licence to store and process your content only to provide the service to you: building your profile, generating matches and estimates, and keeping your account working.

We do not use your content to train machine-learning models, and we do not share it with other users or third parties, except with service providers acting on our behalf as described in our privacy policy. You can delete your content at any time.

7. EU data and accuracy

GrantMatcher is built on public data from EU institutions and agencies, reused under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU. GrantMatcher is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the European Commission or any EU institution or agency.

We sync this data regularly, but calls, deadlines, budgets and eligibility rules can change or contain errors at the source. Always check the official call documents on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, or with the relevant managing authority, before you apply. The official documents take precedence over anything shown in GrantMatcher.

8. Success estimates

Success estimates are statistical indications based on published data, such as past submission and funding counts. They are not predictions, promises or guarantees of any funding decision. They do not assess the quality of your proposal, which only the evaluators can judge. Decide whether and how to apply based on your own judgement.

9. Intellectual property

The GrantMatcher software, design, matching methods and branding belong to NodeLedger or its licensors. Public EU data remains subject to its own reuse terms. Apart from the rights set out in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

10. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any application you make will succeed.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost funding opportunities, or loss resulting from decisions made on the basis of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.

11. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. When an account is closed, we delete your content within the periods described in our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where NodeLedger is established, as stated at nodeledger.io. This does not affect any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
